The HP DesignJet T770 is a large format inkjet printing unit that first hit stores in 2011. This model was aimed at bulky large format printer users who were seeking cheaper and more reliable alternatives for commercial setups. This printer retailed at $1800 in stores upon release. It held the price for a number of subsequent years, but currently you can acquire the device on Amazon for about $1000 in refurbished second-hand condition.
Notably, the device comes with a pre-installed 2GB memory that can be upgraded to 4GB, depending on the tasks that you intend to use the printer for. Further to this, the DesignJet T770 comes with sizeable internal storage that allows you to store files. Indeed, you can scan files and save them to the printer’s hard drive. The scanning unit allows you to scan images and documents of up to A1 size.
This unit also works well when it comes to plotting engineering drawings. Here, you can get a maximum printing quality of 600×600 dpi for mono-color print-outs. For conventional designs, colored documents can reach up to 2400 x 1200 dpi. For this reason, the printer was accepted very warmly by different users on various online platforms. Finally, it is power rated at 120 watts, making it relatively power efficient.

Troubleshooting a HP printer can be a nuisance, we can tell from experience, and in most cases you need the original HP DesignJet T770 Manual to get through the process, but sometimes a quick fix can be applied. This is why we created our two guides which we would recommend to go through before scrolling through the manual. The first one covers the issue when a HP Printer is Printing Blank Pages, and the second one is going through the issue when an HP printer is offline. If both of these guides didn’t help, then we would recommend going through the user manual.
