Last week we covered the HP LaserJet P2055 Manual, and this week we’re talking about the HP LaserJet P2055 Toner. First of all, the HP LaserJet P2055 Monochrome Printer was a member of the line-up which competed with Epson and their laser solutions within the $1000 price range, the only difference is that this model was priced more aggressively, with around $899 per unit. That price point, combined with the features it held, placed it on the top lists of best buy laser printers in the year 2009.
Which toner cartridges to buy for the HP LaserJet P2055
Regarding the consumables, the P2055dn can fit the HP 05a normal yield toner cartridges or the HP 05X high yield toner cartridges. The same models are also going under the name HP CE505Xor HP CE505A. The good news here is that the high yield ones can print up to 6500 pages, the bad news is that they cost a lot, and I mean *a lot*.
If you’re going with the genuine HP 05X Toner Cartridges, you can expect to pay up to $190 for one package, or $360 for the 2-pack solution, which, as the name implies, offers two cartridges within one package.
