The HP DesignJet T3500 is a large format thermal ink printer that was released to the mainstream market in 2014. This model was developed as part of HP’s continued efforts to come up with a cost-efficient large format printer for commercial set-ups. Upon release, it retailed at $14,750 and came with a 90-day warranty. You can currently acquire a refurbished second-hand unit for $10,000 on Amazon.
This unit stands four feet tall and is about five feet wide. It handles printing papers of up to 36 inches wide, making it excellent for printing large banners. It offers a maximum printing quality of up to 2400 x 1200 dpi for both color and monochrome documents. Further to this, the printer also comes with a 500GB internal storage and a further 1GB expandable memory.
As the printer does both conventional printing and plotting engineering drawings, it received a very warm welcome on different fronts of the online community. Additionally, the printer comes with a USB port, through which you can print different file formats from your hard drive. You can also connect it to your LAN via the network port. Finally, the HP DesignJet T3500 comes with a scanner as well.

Troubleshooting a HP printer can be a nuisance, we can tell from experience, and in most cases you need the original HP DesignJet T3500 Manual to get through the process, but sometimes a quick fix can be applied. This is why we created our two guides which we would recommend to go through before scrolling through the manual. The first one covers the issue when a HP Printer is Printing Blank Pages, and the second one is going through the issue when an HP printer is offline. If both of these guides didn’t help, then we would recommend going through the user manual.
