The HP DesignJet T2500 is a large format inkjet printer. It was unveiled in late 2013. The unit was aimed at users looking for a solution for bulk printing for large formats that is fast and cost-efficient. Upon release, the printer retailed at about $10,000 and has held the price intact for a long time. You can, however, get a refurbished second-hand unit from Amazon for $8000.
With this HP model, you can get a maximum printing quality of up to 2400 x 1200 dpi for multicolored documents. For monochrome print-outs, the unit gives up to 600 x 600 dpi. Further to this, this device comes with a scanner unit with a top output of 600 ppi. Notably, the unit also comes with photocopying capabilities, unlike most of its peers from other brands.
Considering the fact that the printer works well as per most of its functions, various users, including plotters, welcomed it very warmly. Notably, the unit comes with an expandable 1.5GB memory, enabling it to process complex printing commands with ease. The unit is power rated at 260 watts while in operation and 4 watts while on sleep mode. For a printer of its magnitude, these power ratings are pretty efficient.

Troubleshooting a HP printer can be a nuisance, we can tell from experience, and in most cases you need the original XY to get through the process, but sometimes a quick fix can be applied. This is why we created our two guides which we would recommend to go through before scrolling through the manual. The first one covers the issue when a HP Printer is Printing Blank Pages, and the second one is going through the issue when an HP printer is offline. If both of these guides didn’t help, then we would recommend going through the user manual.
