The HP DesignJet t120 is a large format printer that was released to the market in 2012. The unit was developed as part of the company’s efforts to come up with cost-effective solutions for large format printing. Upon release, this device came with a $1000 price tag and has remained the same for quite some time. Currently, you can get this printer on Amazon for about $600.

This wide-format machine can print documents of up to D size (24 inches wide). You can opt to use the unit on a table, or on its own stand. The HP DesignJet t120 attains a maximum printing resolution of up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, making it both a good choice for photos and diagrams. It measures 11.2 x 38.9 x 20.9 inches and weighs about 56 pounds.

Considering that the HP DesignJet t120 is among the pioneer printers in this category and does a relatively good job, it was warmly received by designers, engineers and many members of different online forums. The HP DesignJet t120 comes with four ink cartridges, namely: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. They are fitted on the side and can easily be changed, even by users that are not very experienced.

Troubleshooting a HP printer can be a nuisance, we can tell from experience, and in most cases you need the original HP DesignJet T120 Manual to get through the process, but sometimes a quick fix can be applied. This is why we created our two guides which we would recommend to go through before scrolling through the manual. The first one covers the issue when a HP Printer is Printing Blank Pages, and the second one is going through the issue when an HP printer is offline. If both of these guides didn’t help, then we would recommend going through the user manual.
